The Tweet Zone: Big announcement from Bif Bang Pow!

As I trudged through another day at the office today, the following Tweet popped up on my phone:

"Bif Bang Pow! is proud to be expanding our The Twilight Zone offerings. Our expanded line initially includes coasters, lunchboxes, journals, magnets, mugs, prop replicas, shot glasses and steins. We'll have some of these prototypes to show at New York Toy Fair in February, 2011, along with new action figures and bobble heads!"

Wow! Okay, I'm gonna need another TZ shelf. Maybe two. Shot glasses and steins???? Coasters??? A dedicated fan could open a Twilight Zone-themed bar... Hmmm...

In all honesty, I kind of expected Bif Bang Pow!'s efforts to start tapering off this year. I dunno, it's been a dry spell these last several months, and I guess the pessimist in me was assuming the worst. Needless to say, I'm happy to have been proven wrong.

As always, I'll post new info as I get it... the info that I'm permitted to share, that is.

It's nice to have some new Twilight Zone Merch. I'm hoping they release a Rod Serling figure down the line.

I just noticed this yesterday, but over at the ENtertainment Earth site, they've updated some of the info on the wave II figures.

The Doctor, Henry Bemis, and the Venusian all have new photos up, that I would assume are the final product. I guess a picture of The Invader will be following soon.

Also, their release date has been moved from March until July.

I've been following your reports on these, and glad the outlook is good that we'll probably at least be able to get ahold of those next few. Since it's irresistable to imagine future additions to the series (for our own TZ mini-wax-museums), can I add three more? Farwell (Oscar Beregi, Jr.) from The Rip Van Winkle Caper, holding a gold bar; the huge Cyclops spacesuited "Martian" from "The Fear"; and Frisby (Andy Devine).
